Associate Attorney Cowles Ostrander joined Cooper, Adel and Associates Elder Law Practice in 2018. Cowles is a member of our Healthcare Planning Team. This team assists families in finding and applying for benefits to help them pay for long term care services that can be very expensive. The complex process of qualifying for benefits can be an overwhelming experience for the family. Cowles believes that a strong relationship with the family is crucial. He understands the importance of providing the family with regular updates throughout the process. He works closely with family members so that they understand the Firm’s role as well as the family’s responsibilities in providing information and documentation that is required. Meeting deadlines is critical throughout the process to help their loved one obtain these benefits at the earliest possible point.
Cowles completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science at the College of Wooster. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a member of the National Political Science Honors Society. Cowles received his Juris Doctorate from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law where he served as Staff Editor and Associate Editor of The Ohio State Law Journal.
